How this site is run, and how we're paid
You deserve to know who you're dealing with before anyone comes to your house. Here it is, point by point.

- We're a marketing and booking site. Gateway Foundation Works (gatewayfoundationworks.com) promotes foundation repair for homes in St. Louis City, St. Louis County and St. Charles County, Missouri.
- Your call or form comes to us first. An automated assistant answers the phone at all times and takes down your details, and then someone gets back to you to set the visit.
- Independent crews do the work. The inspections and repairs are carried out by registered and insured foundation contractors we work with around St. Louis, not by the people who run this website.
- Who comes depends on the job. The kind of repair, where the house is and who has room in the schedule decide which crew we send. We tell you who's coming before the visit.
- We may be paid a fee. When a referral turns into a job, the contractor may pay us a referral or advertising fee. It's settled between us and them, and it doesn't raise the price you're given.
- We measure what works. We track calls and form requests and use cookie-free analytics so we know which pages bring in requests. Calls may be recorded, with a notice up front. The privacy page explains more.
- You're free to shop around. Get as many other opinions as you like. We'd rather you choose us after comparing.
